Edwin Ross is one of the first ten members of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD) and is on the list of solicitors recommended to dentists by the British Dental Association.
He has acted for Dentists 15 years after a previous long experience as a commercial and company lawyer.
A special service for Dentists is that Edwin Ross makes himself available after normal working hours and on some Sundays for appointments and telephone discussion. He travels to see clients extensively in England & Wales.

o deal with the PCT if you have an NHS Contract and/or Denplan or other capitation fee scheme;
o if there is an exposure to Inheritance Tax in relation to the proceeds of sale (in conjunction with our Wills and Trust making services); and
o many other matters that arise during the sale process
· Buying your practice – whether it is your first purchase or you are looking to expand we help you at this vital time. We deal with:-
o the usual Property matters whether there is Propertyto Buy or Lease involved;
o raising detailed and searching questions with the Seller’s solicitors regarding the property and the practice
o amending and approving the Sale Contract;
o raising the necessary Searches against the Property and advising on the results;
o liaising with the Lending bank and advising you on the terms of the Loan;
o liaise with your Accountants to attempt to achieve the maximum tax advantages;
o deal with the PCT if there is an NHS Contract and/or Denplan or other capitation fee scheme;
o checking that the Property has the necessary planning permissions;
o ensuring that you are not exposed to remedial treatment after completion that you cannot charge for;
o protecting you against the PCT (where relevant) from deducting from your account after completion a shortfall in UDA’s relating to the Seller’s period of ownership; and
o many other matters that arise during the buying process.
